Recipe for Fruit Ice Cream Jello Salad
What You Need
  • 2 packages strawberry jello gelatin 3 ounce
  • 2 Tablespoons cottage cheese small curd
  • 3 Tablespoons vanilla ice cream
  • 3 apples
  • 3 tangerines
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 small container whipped topping

How to Make It
Follow the directions on the strawberry jello gelatin to dissolve it in hot water in a large mixing bowl. Fold in the small curd cottage cheese and the vanilla ice cream into the jello mixture.
Peel the apples and tangerines and then dice them up into small pieces and then fold them into the jello mixture. Fold in the can of pineapples along with the juice and then stir in the chopped nuts.
Pour this mixture into a jello mold and then place in the refrigerator overnight to chill completely or for at least 4 to 6 hours before serving. After allowing the jello mixture to set, you can remove the dessert from the mold and then top it with the whipped topping before serving.
