Common toppings include sweet additions like chocolate, custard and icing. There are also toppings that come with a tangy twist such as fruits or jam. For a creamier taste, some go for cream cheese.
Of course, as much as anyone would like to have Danish Pastry, the sweetness and the calorie content that this pastry offers is an issue. Instead of using ordinary flour, they use the more nutritious version of it which is the whole wheat flour.
